Swimming

Room 6 has worked very hard in their swimming lessons for the past couple of weeks! So awesome to see everyone gaining confidence and having fun in the water! Thank you so much to the parents that came along and helped us out! 

Wig Wednesday

It was great to see so much support for Child Cancer on Wednesday. Everyone looked awesome in their wigs!

THANK YOU

We had an awesome trip down to Invercargill yesterday to see the Kakapo chicks. What an amazing experience for everyone. Even though it was cold, we had lots of fun exploring Queen's Park. 

A big thank you to our awesome Mums (Amy, Hayley, Kayla, Barbara, Sharnee, and Mandy) who helped us out! You helped to make the day relaxing and fun for everyone (including Miss Kerse). 

Week 4 Award Winners!

Well done to Addy who received the value award this week for always showing respect. Addy shows respect to everyone and everything and is a wonderful role model for others, You're awesome Addy!

Our shooting star winners are Grace and Lucas. These two have worked so hard on their reading this term and are making amazing progress. I am super proud of them!

Also our cross country winners received their certificates. Cooper was 1st in the 6 year old boys, and Paige 1st, Livy 2nd and Grace 3rd in the 6 year old girls! Top effort speedy runners!

Term 2 Value and shooting star winners!

Regan is our value winner for this week. Our value is respect and Regan ALWAYS shows respect towards everyone around the school and property also. You're amazing Regan. 

Riley B and Riley R are our shooting star winners for this week! These two have had an awesome start to the term and are making outstanding progress with their reading and writing. Keep it up boys! 

Anzac Poppies

We spent time on Friday talking about Anzac Day and why it is an important day for us. We made poppies and placed them on the remembrance crosses behind our class! 

Superhero Day!

We finished off our term with a superhero day- being a superhero has been our theme this term! We can be superheroes by always trying our best, being kind, helping people and having amazing manners and attitudes!
